The Sablewood does not offer overnight accommodations, but we do provide a wonderful list of lodging and transportation options for you and your guests.
There are so many beautiful places to visit in upstate NY, we encourage you to experience the local flavor of our area, making your wedding the highlight of the experience.
The Rivers Casino area in Schenectady is a short 30-minute shuttle ride and includes the beautiful Landing hotel inside the casino, as well as a Marriott, Hampton Inn, and Hilton all in the same area with plenty of restaurant and bar options on the waterfront. The Rivers Casino is a 5-minute Uber ride to the Schenectady Amtrack Station, and just 10 miles from the Albany Airport.

Parking at the sablewood
Our well-lit, complimentary stone parking lot has space for up to 70 vehicles and can accommodate full size 55-passenger coach buses. Our parking lot is conveniently located off State Route 30, where guests enter and leave through our main entrance gates.

Uber, Lyft and taxi services are limited in our rural area; if you are planning on using one of these services for pick up, please plan at least 30 minutes in advance.
