Owner & Property Manager

It’s great to love what you do – especially when that includes making someone else’s day.

I truly believe it’s a “dream job” to save a piece of history and bring the beauty of the farm to countless others to appreciate.

I grew up working on my family’s large vegetable farm and followed multiple generations of family members attending Cornell University where my great grandfather taught Agricultural Engineering.  While my degree is in business I’ve always enjoyed taking hospitality related classes in Cornell’s famous school of hotel management, as well as teaching riding classes at the Cornell Equestrian Center.

“I cannot wait to share my love of this place with you.”

During and after college I worked in Fortune 100 companies for years.  While it was a great learning to lead groups of people and manage multi-million dollar categories, I realized my passion was elsewhere.

I’ve always loved travel and have found many excuses to go see the world and explore new sights, cultures and architecture, especially their barns.  My sister and I had regularly traveled to Europe to further develop our riding in some of the oldest academies in the world.  Whether riding under the grand chandeliers in Amsterdam, the old stone barns in Slovenia, or the gorgeous Mediterranean hillsides of Portugal, I’ve always appreciated the architecture of various barns and stables and wanted to bring a piece of that home.  We have incorporated various aspects of the old European barns in the renovation designs.

I cannot wait to share my love of this place with you and to create so many more special memories. I hope you’ll schedule a tour to experience the magic of our farm and The Sablewood.
